Disability Access

The following guidelines have been provided as an overview of the overall safety requirements for customers with disabilities and are not exhaustive. As many of the slides and features are water based each customer’s requirements must be dealt with individually. General Access

Dunes Splash World has a proactive view when providing a quality service and facility with ongoing developments for all customers of the facilities. Dunes Leisure Centre is commitment to making access to all areas of the building as easy as possible for everyone. The facilities have been adapted to comply with the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act, with the appropriate level of staff receiving further training. Activity sessions have also been provided to include a number of sessions for people with disabilities.

• Low level reception desk
• Induction loop at reception
• Lift to 2nd floor providing access to:Activity Studio
  • Health and Fitness Suite
  • Toilet facilities for people with disabilities.

• Gym changing and toilet facilities for people with disabilities
• Basic sign language training for staff
• Changing room hoist to assist people with disabilities when getting changed
• Dedicated changing rooms for people with disabilities
